During the intake, we will determine how many hours the assessment will take, what materials will be used, whether a heteroanamnesis will be required, how many hours the scoring will take, and so on. Based on this, a quote will be prepared. This includes feedback and a written report. If you require a more detailed report, it will be provided to you at an additional cost, but this is almost never required.
If more time is needed than originally planned, an additional session may be required. In that case, a fee of 85 euros will be charged for each additional hour of assessment. However, the allotted time has been estimated to usually be more than sufficient, so this is the exception rather than the rule.
The prices above are indicative and will be adjusted to your specific situation. For example, if an assessment has already been conducted in the past, some tests may not need to be repeated. This will be discussed in detail with you during the intake.
Why are the prices for an assessment so high?
A good question! Unlike therapeutic counseling, psychodiagnostic assessment is mostly done behind the scenes, using expensive test materials. A test form costing €7 is not uncommon at all!
The questionnaires you complete and the assignments we do together are scored and interpreted afterward. This is time-consuming work that we do with great dedication. However, this doesn’t tell us exactly how your puzzle fits together. After all the material has been processed, we put all the pieces together to determine what’s going on and try to translate this information into something that you can use in your process. Finally, a summary of the most important findings is also written.
